Vision 2020: 

To inspire teens to live differently – Romans 12:2 ‘Don’t copy the behaviour and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect.’

When do we meet? 

Every Friday from 7-9pm, except school holidays.  Most Fridays we are at the Kingaroy Church of Christ, but we do have a few events that are held off site, like Pool Night & Ten Pin Bowling.

Who can come? 

CCYG is for teenagers in grades 7 through to 12.  We have a wide range of teens who participate – including teens from home schools, public, and private schools across the greater Kingaroy area – from “I don’t believe in God” to “I love God”.  It’s a great place to meet new people and make some great friends, while having a heap of fun.

What do we do?

Our typical monthly schedule is:

1st Friday – Megalithic

Big games and nights like Pool Night, Ten Pin Bowling, Chalk Chase, Barbarians, etc.

2nd Friday – Interact

Games & interactive activities centred around working with your Connect Group (CG) – small groups of same age.  At times, may also include some CG discussion time.

3rd Friday – Allsorts

Variety is the spice of life! This night could be one of many things – Meet The Leaders, Service Friday’s, Guys/Girls Nights, or even a big games night, etc.

4th Friday – The Rundown

This night will centre around a devotion or Bible Study on a teen-related topic that can include CG discussion and question time, discussion panels, interviews, and videos.

Every Friday – Core Group

CCYG also holds a Bible Study at 6pm for those who would like to dig deeper into the Bible.

Who are our leaders? 

Leaders come from several local churches and mix of ages. They are all Blue Card and ChildSafe certified.
